• Knights of Columbus Annual Lenten Fish Fry will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at McCann Center in Newton. The Monsignor T.J. McCann Council of the Knights of Columbus serve fish meals each Friday during Lent.

• Legislative Coffee will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hy-Vee, 1501 First Ave. E. in Newton. The Jasper County League of Women Voters will host the final Legislative Coffee of the 2015 Iowa Legislative Session. Rep. Dan Kelley, Rep. Greg Heartsill and Senator Chaz Allen plan to be there.

• Legislative Forum will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Monroe City Hall, 203 Sherman St. in Monroe. Rep. Greg Heartsill and Sen. Amy Sinclair will be discussing the 2015 session of the Iowa legislature and answering constituent questions.
