There is one Newton Daily News hoops challenge contest for the 2015 NCAA men’s basketball tournament — the Montana Mike’s Bracket Challenge.
All NCAA men’s basketball tournament picks will need to be made online at newtondailynews.com.
Similar to many bracket contests, teams will need to be picked prior to the first round of the tournament, which begins Tuesday with the First Four games. The Final Four is April 4 and the championship game is April 6 in Indianapolis.
Participants submit all their picks online and will be able to monitor their scores as the tournament progresses.
The winner of the contest will receive a $100 gift card to Montana Mike’s in Newton and second and third place will receive $50 and $35 respectively. The contest is free to play, however winners must be residents of Jasper County.
For those wanting to follow the tournament but not play in the contest, the Newton Daily News will feature the updated bracket six times throughout the event.
