Pamela Lou Tague, 61, of Newton, died Thursday, March 5, 2015, at her home. A celebration of Pamela’s life will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 7, at the Evangelical Free Church in Baxter. The family will greet friends after the service with a lunch at the church. Memorials to the Jasper County Animal Rescue League or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital may be left at the church the morning of the service. The Wallace Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Pamela, the daughter or Robert “Bob” and Vera (Dooley) Bonnett, was born on Nov. 3, 1953, in Oskaloosa. She moved to Colfax, prior to starting school and graduated from Colfax High School. Pamela was united in marriage with Kenneth Tague Feb. 4, 1972, in Colfax. They moved to Newton in 1977. Pamela worked as an in home care provider and nurses aide and also as a para pro at Newton High School. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church in Baxter, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Those left to honor Pamela’s memory are her husband, Kenny Tague of Newton; son, Christopher Tague of Des Moines; daughter, Melissa Tague; her grandson, Christopher Tague, Jr. of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; sister, Tamyie (Blake) Kingery of Newton; her nieces and nephews, Amy Kingery, Jonathan Kingery, Robert Kingery and Tammy Morgan; and two great-nephews, Thomas Morgan and Gabriel Kingery. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie (Larry) Morgan; and a granddaughter at birth.
