Krista J. Nissen, 45, of Des Moines, formerly of Newton, died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 6 at Hope Lutheran Church, 3857 E. 42nd St. in Des Moines. Friends may greet the family from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Pence-Reese Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
