The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory from 3 a.m. to noon Wednesday for Jasper County.
Dangerous wind chills are expected to set in late tonight with a strong arctic cold front forcing bitter cold air into the state Tuesday evening, accompanied by strong winds.
Wind chill values will drop to 20 to near 30 below zero by Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
