Primetime Fellowship met Jan. 19 in the gathering room at Community Heights Alliance in Newton. Chuck Harris served as emcee and hosts included Raymond Lumas, Lloyd Brown, Melinda Kaisand, Judy Sparks, Gladys Harris and Church Harris.
Special gospel music was performed by Steve Knight which was an excellent program. Door prize winners were given to Jack Calhoun, Larry Ingle, Phyllis Frohwein and Bert Doane.
Primetimers will host a lunch at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Montana Mikes in Newton. Managers Dave and Julie Lilly will be present. To RSVP, call the church office at 641-792-1620.
An upcoming event, Old Time Gospel, will take place April 13-15 at WELK Resort Theatre in Branson, Mo. The trip will include entertainment and appearances from former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Mark Lowry, The Collingsworth Family, Johnny Hunt, Jason Crabb, Gold City, Dino, The Martins and Lynda Randle. For those interested, call call the church office at 641-792-1620. The earlier seats are secured, the better rates will be available.
The next Primetime Fellowship meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 in gathering room of CMA. The February meeting is not a potluck. There will be soup and deserts. Guests are asked to bring their own sandwiches.
February meeting hosts will be Don, Van Vark, Carolyn Van Vark, Harold Brow, Lois Brown, Illa Guthrie, Freda DeGreef and Lisa Blommers.
The program will feature Audrey Rex and the Grace Church Praise Team.
