OSCEOLA — Osceola police say they have arrested four people in connection with the killings of two people whose bodies were found Sunday.

Police announced Monday the bodies were found in a vehicle in the south-central Iowa city. They appeared to have died from gunshot wounds. Autopsies are planned for Tuesday. Police didn’t release the names of those killed until relatives could be notified.

Investigators charged 38-year-old Richard Ryan Lamb Carson with two counts of first-degree murder.

They also charged 47-year-old Lynn Ranean Sutton, 43-year-old Tracy Kay Johnson and 42-year-old Christopher Martin Elben with one count of accessory after the fact.

All those arrested are from Osceola.

Online court records don’t indicate whether those arrested have attorneys.
