DES MOINES — Police say someone stole a woman’s vehicle while she was warming it up and crashed it into a Des Moines flower shop.
No arrests had been made yet in the Tuesday night incident. Authorities say the car belonged to an employee at an eye care center that’s near Boesen Florist. Police say the thief caused an estimated $7,500 in damage to the flower shop and $5,000 to the car.
No injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
