Winter break camp for kids

Jasper County Conservation is offering an outdoor camp for children ages 10-14 during winter break. The “Cabin Fever Camp” will take place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 at Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve.

Participants will try out snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and ice fishing. There is a heated shelter at the preserve and a warm snack will be included.
