Wednesday Night Live hosts service project

The Grace Church Wednesday Night Live children’s program recently participated in a service project to give back. For the past six weeks, Wednesday Night Live hosted a service project in collecting their coins to help purchase a coat for a child in need. The children participants and church volunteers were able to collect enough coins to purchase six coats and a pair of mittens to go with each.

The program exists to teach children about religion in a fun and practical way, and to help them to live out what they learn. Linda Gauch is the program director.

Wednesday Night Live meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. each Wednesday at Grace Church, located at 1620 N. 11th Ave. E. in Newton.
