Crews battling Newton structure fire

The Newton Fire Department is on the scene of a structure fire this morning.

The fire at 5687 Highway F48 W. at what appears to be a barn or large out building, was discovered around 7 a.m. The building was entirely engulfted when crews arrived, according to Fire Chief Jarrod Wellik. He said no one was in the structure at the time of the fire.

The Colfax Fire Department is also responding to the fire.
