CORALVILLE — Officials say an Iowa inmate has died of natural causes.
The state Department of Corrections says 65-year-old Kenneth Boyd died Monday. He was assigned to the hospice care unit inside the Iowa Medical and Classification Center in Coralville. Officials say Boyd died of natural causes due to complications from renal failure. He has been serving a life sentence for first-degree murder since 1976.
