The Congregational United Church of Christ will host its annual soup supper at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, at the church, 308 E. Second St. N. in Newton.
The meal of homemade soups and desserts will be followed with entertainment by bluegrass and gospel group Rickety Road.
The public is invited to attend and a free will offering will be used to support the mission and activities of the church’s service and outreach committee.
