As part of its long tradition of giving back to the community, The Vernon Company successfully raised more than $24,500 for the local United Way of Jasper County. This included a dollar-for-dollar match (up to $7,500) for all employee giving pledged during the three-day campaign period.
Employees were challenged by the Vernon Campaign Team to increase their pledges this year over last year by at least $5. 56 percent of the employees who pledged last year, met this new challenge, and those employees were entered into a drawing. Once the campaign was finished, one name was drawn and a prize was given.
