A $10,000-winning Iowa Lottery scratch ticket was sold in Newton. Bill Jaekel, of Warsaw, Mo., claimed the 12th of 32 prizes of $10,000 available in the lottery’s “$250,000 Club” game. Jaekel claimed his prize Monday at the lottery’s headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Newton 66, 1806 S. 12th Ave. W. in Newton.
