We would like to thank the people of Newton and surrounding communities for making “Rock-The-Rink” a huge success.

Special thanks go out to the Newton Community Schools and all the churches, lodges, funeral homes and the Jasper County Fair Board for use of tables and chairs for our event. Thanks to the many volunteers who helped set up and tear down the same, to those who worked security and helped at the door taking tickets. Also thanks to Gary Hussey and the West Gate for renting us the building.

Special thanks go out to the following sponsors, Magic Mufflers and Brakes, Barney’s Services, Riggs Printing, Free Classified Weekly, Boulders Inns and Suites, Khreschatyk Guest House, KFJB Radio in Marshalltown and to Jamie Grout for letting us sit in and talk about the event on his local broadcast and the Newton Convention and Visitors Bureau.

We have had nothing but positive comments from those who attended and it was a fun time for all involved.
