During the month of November, photographs taken by photo pike participants are on display in the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center’s art gallery. A reception will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The public is welcome to stop by to view the photography, meet the artists, and enjoy refreshments provided by the Friends of Neal Smith NWR.
The photo hike programs provide an opportunity for professional and amateur photographers to learn more about NSNWR, explore little-known corners of the refuge, and take pictures of the wide variety of plants and animals living on the prairie. These seasonal hikes are free and open to the public, of all ages and abilities.
