• Central Iowa Ostomy Association informal meeting will meet at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Newton Public Library meeting room A, in Newton. Joyce Otto, RN, BSN, CWON, will be sharing information on skin care and other issues for the ostomate. Anyone with an ostomy, support person, or medical staff is welcome to attend. • Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1409 S. Eighth Ave E. in Newton, is hosting a free community meal at 5 p.m. Sunday. The meal will include turkey, stuffing, mashed potato, gravy, vegetables and pie. All in the community are welcome to attend.
