4-H Club

The Sherman Sunbeam 4-H Club had its October meeting at the United Presbyterian Church. There were 27 members in attendance. First on the agenda was installation of officers. They are: president Jenna Smith, vice president Jacob Arrowood, secretary Kynleigh Colbert, treasurer Jacob Smith, historian Rilyn Titus, reporter Dalton Altemeier, photographer Kendall Brummel, rec. leader Libbie Kieth. Installation of new members was next. Those installed were Andrew Machin, Alyssa Machin, Kaitlyn Noel, Emma Vander Heiden, Ryan Essen and Dalton Mowbray.

The meeting was then called to order by Jenna Smith. Dalton Mowbray led the Pledge of Allegiance. Kynleigh read the secretary’s report. The club is planning a family dinner for November. We will be participating in Operation Christmas Child, Court House Christmas trees, Thanksgiving dinner give away, ringing the Salvation Army bell, and tree decorating at Kellogg. We were reminded of the new archery club meeting Oct. 25 at the Ikes. 4H awards program will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 9. Rilyn led the 4H pledge to close the meeting. Libbie Kieth led a get to know each other game.
