SHELLSBURG — The Benton County Sheriff’s Office says it has found the body of an 81-year-old woman who went missing over the weekend. Authorities say Constance Runde’s body was found in a creek about 100 feet from her vehicle. A pedestrian discovered it abandoned near Shellsburg on Tuesday. Runde had been missing since Sunday.
Cedar Rapids police say her death didn’t appear suspicious.
