The area on North Fourth Avenue East, between First Street North and East Fourth Street North, will close at 6 p.m. Friday for additional pavement resurfacing included as part of the city’s on-going street improvement project, weather permitting. The work will continue into early Saturday morning, when the street will be reopened to through traffic.
During this night-time closure, on-street parking will be prohibited on this section of North Fourth Avenue East. When the street is reopened to traffic the following morning, parking will again be allowed on the north side of the street. On-street parking on the south side of the section will remain restricted until the sidewalk, lighting, landscaping, and striping improvements are completed.
