• Malissa M. Cavanh, 19, of Newton, is charged with unlawful possession of prescription pills, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a drug paraphernalia after authorities were called to the 400 block of South Fifth Avenue West at 2:23 p.m. Monday. Officers were called to a verbal fight and found Cavanh along with the person she was fighting with. She consented to a search where officers found plastic baggies with a white residue, a broken glass pot pipe, a meth straw, plastic baggies with a blue residue and a plastic baggie with brown capsules inside. Cavanh admitted there was meth as well as Adderall, which she did not have a prescription for, in the baggies. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Christopher J. Pollard, 24, of Winterset, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and assault after authorities were called to the 400 block of South Fifth Avenue West at 2:26 p.m. Monday. Officers were called to a verbal fight and found Pollard walking down the street. He matched the description of the man involved in the fight. Officers found that he had an arrest warrant for an assault that took place on Sept. 12. While searching Pollard, officers found a glass pipe in the pocket the he described as paraphernalia. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Dakota K. Sizemore, 21, of Grinnell, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, no insurance and operating a non-registered vehicle after authorities pulled him over in the 6500 block of East 124th Street South at 11:05 p.m. Thursday. Officers pulled over the vehicle on a traffic violation when Sizemore admitted to switching seats because he did not have a driver’s license. Officers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and after searching found the end of a joint in a soda can. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Kaitlin M. Bennington, 22, of Grinnell, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and permitting an unauthorized person to drive after authorities pulled him over in the 6500 block of East 124th Street South at 11:05 p.m. Thursday. Officers pulled over the vehicle on a traffic violation when Bennington admitted to switching seats because the driving did not have a license. Officers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and after searching found the end of a joint in a soda can. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Ashley N. T. Camacho, 19, of Sully, is charged with interference with official acts after authorities were called to 8435 S. 44th Ave. E. at 11:36 p.m. Friday. Officers found Camacho in her vehicle at a party where there was alcohol. The homeowner said he did not want Camacho on his property anymore. Camacho refused to give her name or exit the car and after attempting a taser and spray with no success, officers physically removed her from the vehicle. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
