CEDAR RAPIDS — Crews have installed in Cedar Rapids what officials say are Iowa’s first permanent green bike lanes.
The work Thursday follows a June test on Third Avenue Southeast, Cedar Rapids television station KCRG.
“Green bike lanes help call attention to areas where cyclists may be driving,” said city spokeswoman Emily Muhlbach.
