PCM loses at Carlisle

CARLISLE — The Prairie City-Monroe volleyball team lost a tight, five-set match on the road to Carlisle Tuesday night (25-17, 25-14, 23-25, 21-25, 19-17).

PCM’s Courtney Van Houweling led the Mustangs with a team-high 15 kills and 30 digs. She also recorded an ace serving.

Jayci Vos posted 18 assists for PCM and Kayla Jennings added 17. Ashley Van Gorp recorded 11 kills and Emma Williams served two aces.

The Mustangs’ (2-9) next match is Sept. 11 at North Polk.
