Hot Tamale and the Red Hots, featuring lead singer Cindy “Hot Tamale” Grill, also performed during the late afternoon. Chicago-based Cash Box Kings finished out the evening.

Recent rainy weather gave way to only partly cloudy skies for the South Skunk Blues Society’s 22nd annual Bowlful of Blues on Saturday at Maytag Park.
