Joseph Richards and Kelsey Johnston of Newton announce the birth of their son, Koleson Rae Richards, on Aug. 22, 2014, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
He is welcomed home by one sibling, Kaya, 3.
Grandparents are Matt Richards, Renee Richards and Jerry Johnston, all of Newton, and Kelly Northcutt of Des Moines.
Great-grandparents are Steve and Kay Lepley and Joanne Richards, both of Newton; Rick Northcutt and Paul and Glenna Munson, all of Des Moines; and Janice Koontz of Fort Myers, Fla.
