Newton Police Department

• Cristopher M. Foote, 18, of Mcloud, Okla., is charged with trespassing after authorities were called to 302 E. 14th St. N. at 12:23 a.m. Tuesday. Officers found Foote standing in the roadway beside a residence that he had previously been advised to stay off of. Foote admitted to knocking on the door. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Garry L. Selby, 57, of Newton is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after authorities were called to 1800 W. Fourth St. N. #5A at 9:33 p.m. Tuesday. Officers were called to the residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. Officers spoke with the subjects who said the altercation was just verbal. They then consented to a search of the residence where they found multiples pipes and plastic baggies in Selby’s room. Selby admitted to smoking marijuana from the pipes. He was cited and released to appear.
