Peck children enjoy sculpture tour

Children from Peck Child Development Center recently took an art/sculpture tour led by Linda Klepinger of the Centre for Arts & Artists. The tour included the core portion of downtown Newton. The youth learned about the artists, the subjects and the medium used to create each item of public art. The students' own creations of "rock art" were displayed last week at the CAA, 501 W. Third St. N.
