Shortly after they moved to Des Moines, where Steve was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #109 and the Eagle Riders. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Raiders and Cubs fan. Steve enjoyed riding his motorcycle, his dogs, fishing, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
