Jasper County Conservation Board will be hosting Pioneer Cooking Days for kids ages 10-14 from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday through Friday at the Kiwanis shelter at Maytag Park.
There is a $5 charge for the event.
July 23 the group will be cooking wild edibles; July 24 will be wild game; and July 25 the participants will be cooking critters.
