Tim Dugger ready to rock Iowa Speedway

After the roar of the engines has subsided following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series American Ethanol 200 presented by Enogen on Friday and the Verizon IndyCar Series Iowa Corn Indy 300 presented by DEKALB on Saturday, the sounds will shift to those of country music star Tim Dugger.

Ticket holders for either Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series American Ethanol 200 presented by Enogen or Saturday night’s Verizon IndyCar Series Iowa Corn Indy 300 presented by DEKALB will be able to view both performances, which will start approximately 30 minutes after the end of each race.

“We’re excited to have Tim Dugger at Iowa Speedway because he’s a true NASCAR and all-around race fan,” Iowa Speedway President Jimmy Small said. “I know Tim will provide two high energy post-race concerts for our fans, and I have no doubt that our fans will reciprocate with the same energy throughout each concert. It should be an unforgettable weekend with Tim capping off both major events.”

Headlining clubs and performing at other races, Dugger has amassed a loyal following of race fans, drivers, and crew chiefs. Songs of his like “Sunday Drive” and “You Know Who We Are” speak directly to motorsports and the excitement found on the track and in the stands each week.

“I can’t wait to be back,” Dugger said. “Iowa is one heck of a race track and the fans are die hard race fans, just what I like!”

Over the past few years Dugger, an Alabama-native, has performed with a wide variety of popular country artists including Trace Adkins, Sarah Evans, Diamond Rio and Craig Morgan. Tim was featured in the Tuff TV reality show “Highway to Fame.”
