Prairie City’s annual Prairie Days celebration beat the weather forecast and brought hundreds of people from around the county to the city’s downtown square over the weekend. Planners were concerned rain would wash out Saturday’s planned events, but with the exception of the Prairie Days Parade, Saturday’s festivities were dry and the evening concert was moved to UpTown Restaurant and Lounge.
