Russian delegation visits DMACC

A delegation of four Russian women entrepreneurs and their facilitator spent an afternoon on the Des Moines Area Community College Newton Campus visiting with representatives from the Newton Development Corporation and DMACC Business Resources Executive Director Kim Didier. The delegation was hosted by the Organization Promoting Everlasting Neighbors. DMACC Ankeny Campus English Professor Maria Cochran (center) interpreted for the delegation, which included: Tatyana Shikanova (left to right), Yevgeniya Goloschchanova, Cochran, Yelena Lyakh and Lyubov Zarubitskaya.  Shikanova owns a laundry and dry cleaning business.  Goloschchanova owns a gourmet Italian deli, while Zarubitskaya operates an accounting business.
