A “Signs of Spring Wild Walk” will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve.

Katie Cantu, naturalist with the Jasper County Conservation Board, will lead the woodland walk. Participants will hunt for spring wildflowers, discover wildlife under logs and among the treetops, learn about wild edible plants and will have the opportunity to sample a few.

Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a camera. The program is free and for all ages. The walk will be canceled in the event of rain. Check check for updates.
