Newton’s middle school girls’ track team set two school records as it won the Saydel Middle School Invitational track meet Monday in Saydel. Morgann Eide posted a new Newton Berg Middle School mark in the 100-meter hurdles, and combined with Audrey Lucas, Lizz McVey and Lane Dethrow to set a new shuttle hurdle relay record.
