Jennings leads Mustang golfers in home dual meet

MONROE — Prairie City-Monroe boys golf team shot a 158 Thursday night at the Gateway Golf Course in Monroe, five strokes behind meet winner Pella Community High School.

The top scorer for the Mustangs was Ryan Jennings who shot a 37 on the nine-hole course. Devon Woody recorded a 39, Justin Beener shot a 40 and Reid Jenkins rounded out the PCM boys with a 42.

The Mustangs will play again this afternoon in varsity tournament at Terrance Hill Golf Course in Altoona. This is a rescheduled meet due to the cold temperatures on April 14.  PCM will tee off at 2 p.m.
