Colfax-Mingo boys lose

PLEASANTVILLE — Colfax-Mingo’s Tigerhawks dropped a 71-43 decision Thursday to Pleasantville, finishing the regular season.

Pleasantville rolled to a 35-16 halftime lead.

Colfax-Mingo (0-22) travels to Alleman to play North Polk in tonight’s opening round of Class 2A District 13 playoffs. The game is at 8 p.m.

In Thursday’s game, Jacob Leitz scored 10 points, which included hitting two 3-pointers, for the Tigerhawks. Also hitting two 3-pointers was Juan Gonzales as he scored eight points.

Colin Lourens added nine points and Jared Myers had eight points. Nate Smith and James Stoecker had four points apiece.
