Dani is going to Hollywood

Newton resident Dani Heikkila has received her Golden Ticket to Hollywood. After Dani's performance on "American Idol," which aired Thursday night, she was met by friends and family throwing confetti and screaming. After the show, Dani posted via Facebook. "I just want to say thank you for everyone supporting me. Especially my hometown of Newton! You guys are awesome!! Love, Dani."
