Preparing for the slopes

Newton resident Kenard Prunty (right) and his brother Kyler (left) prepare for time trials on Monday at the Special Olympics of Iowa state winter games held every January in Dubuque. The two will be competing in downhill and cross crountry skiing today. In 2010, the two won a gold medal in volleyball after their team won at the Special Olympics National games in Nebraska.
