Published: Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 11:22 a.m. CDT

“Rain — A Tribute to the Beatles” will show at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 4 and 5, at the Des Moines Civic Center as part of the 2013-14 Willis Broadway Series.

Tickets are available at www.DesMoinesPerformingArts.org, the Civic Center Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations and charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000. Groups of 10 or more should call (515) 246-2340.

“Rain” showcases the full range of The Beatles’ discography live onstage, including the most complex and challenging songs that The Beatles themselves recorded in the studio but never performed for an audience. In addition to the updated sets that include brand new LED, high-definition screens and multimedia content, new songs have also been included with the launch of the 2013-2014 tour.

Together longer than The Beatles, the “Rain” musicians have mastered every song, gesture and nuance of the legendary foursome, delivering a totally live, note-for-note performance. The group performs the early hits as well as the later classics, including “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “Hard Day’s Night,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Let It Be,” “Come Together,” “Hey Jude” and more.
