PCM boys take out Rams by 31

MONROE — Prairie City-Monroe’s boys totaled 53 rebounds and shot nearly 50 percent from the field on Friday night. Both of those totals contributed to a 73-42 trouncing of the the visiting Greene County Rams.

PCM had two players — Senior Dillon Bruxvoort and sophomore Logan Gilman — put up double-doubles in points and rebounds. Bruxvoort scored 26 points and grabbed 12 boards, while Gilman shot 9-for-14 from the field for 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

PCM moves to 2-0 on the season while attempting to rack up a half-decade of consecutive conference titles under coach Fred Lorensen.

The Mustangs stay home tonight with a game against Pella Christian.
