James Lee Bair

James Lee Bair, 44, of Newton died Nov. 15, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at Hamilton Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. in Des Moines.

James was born in Grinnell on May 10, 1969. He graduated from Newton Senior High School Class of 1988.

James was married to Janet Faught on Sept. 19, 2012. They were married one year.

James worked for River Bend Industries in Victor. He enjoyed ATV, guns, Mustangs and loved “Dukes of Hazzard.”

James is survived by his spouse; his grandmother, Helen Bair; his mother Marilyn Weisskopf; his father Clarence Bair Jr.; his brother, Clint Bair, his sister, Janet Gideon; brother-in-law Jody Gideon; his nephews, Derek and Brandon Gideon; and his niece, Jenelle Gideon.

James is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Bair Sr., Lester Weisskopf and Grace Weisskopf.

James will be remembered for loving his family to the end.
