All music lovers are cordially invited to attend the first meeting of the season of the Newton Guild of Des Moines Metro Opera on Sunday in the Park Centre Garden Room.
Refreshments will be served at 1:45 p.m., with the meeting beginning at 2 p.m. Included will be an overview of the guild’s programs planned for the year and an opportunity to join the guild at a cost of $25 per person. All memberships must be received by Dec. 1 for names to be included in the 2014 yearbook.
