Seventh-grade volleyball has learning season

NEWTON — Newton’s seventh-grade volleyball team recently completed its season.  Head coach Eric Vander Velden said the team worked hard during practices and competed well in games.  

“Throughout the season, the team improved and had fun,” Vander Velden said. He was assisted in coaching the team by Ashley Ryan.

Members of the seventh-grade volleyball team were: Caitlin Elliot, Taylor Lambertus, Olivia Barnes, Teddie Brunsmann, Elise Senclair, Kyleigh Stevenson, Desirae Shelton, Brittney McConnell, Hannah Clark, Anna VanDam, McKenzie Kleinschrodt, Chloe Butler, Sierra Anderson, Courtney Ingle, Lakin Jenkins, Bailey Amerson, Mariah Petro, Danielle Ambers, Madison Warren, Maddison Thayer, Tiffany Morris, Tyra Lambertus, Taylor Guy, Rachel Mullikin, Skye Gregory, Mariah Wickliffe, Emily Sell, Molly Snow, Rilee Slycord, Jacey Comer, Anna Coyle, Tegan Simmons, Arieal Lum, Alicia Miller, Jazmin Chance, Sommer Markman, Taylor Johnson, Katelyn Wallace, Taylor Barton, Carolyn Kimmel, Ariel James, Hailey Argo, Harley Neal, Sierra Livengood.
