Art show set for Sunday at CAA

Herman Deaton’s six-foot sculpture “Edna Before Maytag” — along with paintings and charcoal pieces by Karen King and jewelry and sculptures designed by Jaden King — will be featured at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Centre for Arts & Artists, 501 W. Third St. N. in Newton. 

The event is free and open to the public.
