Roy “Sonny” Hawkins, 73, died Saturday evening, Oct. 12, 2013, at his home in Newton, under the care of Skiff Hospice.
A time of remembrances for Roy will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton. A time of fellowship with the family will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sugar Grove (Metz) Cemetery in rural Newton.
