Rodrigo & Renee (Birkenholz) Hidalgo of Radford, Va., announce the birth of their son, Preston Lee Hidalgo, at 12:02 p.m. Oct. 3, 2013. Preston weighed 8 pounds, 1⁄2 oz., and was 21 inches long.
Grandparents are Dan and Ronda Birkenholz of Newton and Jaime and Isabel Hidalgo of Mexico City, Mexico. Great-grandparents are Ron and Ellen Nearmyer and Henry and Jane Birkenholz, all of Newton.
