Kylie and Nate Werden of Newton announce the birth of their son, Mitchell Scott Werden, on Aug. 7, 2013, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Grandparents are Marcia McAnally and Toni Werden, all of Newton, and Gary Werden of Van Cleve.
Great-grandparents are Darrel and Joy Lee Steinberger, Brenda Damman and Byron Damman, all of Newton.
