Black Hills Energy donates $500 to City of Baxter’s new welcome center

BAXTER — Black Hills Energy has donated $500 to the City of Baxter and Baxter Economic Development which will go towards construction of a welcome center on the west side of Baxter on Highway F17.

“The new active welcome center would showcase our community in many ways,” said Loren Milligan, board member for Baxter Economic Development. “We are excited and eager to see this project succeed and it is only possible with contributions like this.”

“We are pleased to support the Welcome Center to help provide new promotional opportunities for the community of Baxter,” said Summer Wade, operations supervisor for Baxter and the surrounding area.
