Robyn Friedman of Newton was the first to cross the finish line at the Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve. Off the Beaten Path, a 6K running event hosted by Jasper County Conservation, has celebrated nine years of raising funds for the conservation group, and the event draws people from all across Central Iowa.
